e-Learning: Climate Action Training for the Fashion Industry

The Climate Action Training developed under Promoting Sustainability in the Textile and Garment Industry in Asia (FABRIC) offers two distinct course formats: web-based self-paced learning and a tutored training module, both comprising five modules. These modules are designed to provide a structured learning experience, with self-paced units necessitating 1-2 hours per module and the tutored training spanning six weeks. Moreover, brands and manufacturers can choose to access more comprehensive training through tutors trained in Cambodia, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
Availability
Currently, the training is available in English, Italian, Mandarin, Khmer, Turkish and Vietnamese on the Atingi platform, with plans to expand to additional languages in the future. Access to the training is provided free of charge, ensuring widespread availability.
Main features and components
In this self-paced course, textile, garment and footwear manufacturers will learn the impact of climate change, how to account for greenhouse gas emissions and implement measures to cut the emissions.
The training will provide foundational knowledge on how suppliers get started to achieve a 30% emission reduction by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2050.
Who is this course for?
The course is intended for factory management and technical mid-management of Tier 1 and 2 suppliers in the textile, garment and footwear industry.

How much time do I need to invest? Completing the main course and short quizzes would take about 11 - 13 hours in total.
